Here lie thy will,
Of thou treasury I leave to mine relatives To:• Sextus Pompeius I leave thou width 15, 000 Drachmaes• Atia Balba Caesonia I leave thou width 40, 000 Drachmaes• Gaius Octavaius Augustus I leave thou width 120, 000 Drachmaes• Octavia Minor I leave thou width 60, 000 Drachmaes• Lucius Julius Caesar IV and Julia Antonia I leave thou width 60, 000 Drachmaes• Finally to mine dear beloved Marcus Antonius I leave thou width 165, 000 DrachmaesAlso to my relatives I leave thou beautiful and graceful Flaminii Park. To the citizens of Rome thou hast left you Velabrum Park as a token of mine gratitude for thou support over mine years. And width thou lands that lie in thy countryside I hast left five square leagues to be split up fairly.• Sextus Pompeius thou hast left thou two and one half square stadiums• Atia Balba Caesonia hast left thou width five square stadiums• Gaius Octavius Augustus thou hast been left width one square league• Lucius Julius Caesar IV and Julia Antonia thou hast now eight square stadiums in thou possession• Marcus Antonius thou hast been left width one and one half square leaguesThou truly Caesar, and hope that thou keeps mine memory in thy heart and hope that this inheritance will keep thou heart true to Rome and to me.
This piece of paper is Caesar’s will untouched by Antony. As you may see Caesar is not leaving the public with what Antony has said he would. The research that was done to find the measurements and the Relatives that would receive the inheritance is all with the document. I also have a little map of a Roman city and picked two names out of it to be the parks, then I researched and found Roman measurements and then used a tally system to give each relative what I think he would have given them.
